PERRYBUO Y & EQUIPMENT
The Perrybuoy is a 30-inch diameter orange lifebuoy available in two weight options: 2.5kg and 4.0kg. It is approved under the SOLAS/EC Marine Equipment Directive. The lifebuoy has an outer diameter of 750 +/- 2mm and an inner diameter of 440 +/- 2mm. The elliptical section measures 155 +/- 1mm on the major axis and 91 +/- 1mm on the minor axis. The maximum installation height is 36 meters.
The Perryline is a safety line designed to be used with the Perrybuoy. It is made of polypropylene braided buoyant line with a breaking strain of 250kg.
A buoyant orange heaving line, 30 meters in length, is available for attachment to lifebuoys.
Galvanised steel "Y" brackets are available for housing 30-inch circular lifebuoys. Stainless steel brackets are also available for 24-inch and 30-inch buoys.
The L160 and L161 lifebuoy lights are SOLAS approved and feature a lithium battery with a 5-year storage life.
