Sessantadue 62-2

Impossible to look away from right from the very first glance: the design element which first affirms the character of the Sessantadue 62 is its vertical bow. A line which connects the sea and sky, and which accentuates the naval allure of the yacht. The waterline is lengthened, with the vessel benefiting in terms of audacity and muscularity, but without suffering in terms of harmony of forms, which is a distinctive element of Cranchi Yachts’ new flybridge models. Perfect harmony is what must be conveyed by a flybridge: balance between the search for contact with the sea and the thrust towards...

The history of Cranchi Yachts is inextricably linked to Lake Como. In fact, it was on the shore of the lake that Giovanni Cranchi opened his first workshop in San Giovanni di Bellagio in 1866. The official founding of his artisan business came a few years later in 1870, the year the company was registered to build wooden boats. Cars were not yet on the road, but the first Cranchi boats were already taking to the water, beginning a journey that would continue across the world’s seas to this day. Sulle sue sponde, infatti,...

VIEW MORE L E GAC Y In 1932, another Giovanni Cranchi, the founder’s grandson, moved the business to Brienno, remaining on the shores of Lake Como and expanding the workshop into a shipyard in the process. Aldo Cranchi shared his father’s passion for sailing and for the most refined construction techniques early on and applied his talents to designing new boats and...

S U S TA I N A B I L I T Y A N D R E S P O N S I B I L I TY Being part of a history that spans more than 150 years generates pride, and leads to a sense of responsibility. The company also feels great responsibility towards the environment: the well-being of the seas and the fight against climate change are strategic factors...

An all-Italian identity. An all-Italian success story. Just one country – Italy – and a single production district – in Lombardy – where our yachts are conceived, designed and manufactured. The art direction projects for all the yachts we build are developed in collaboration with Christian Grande, one of the leading names in nautical design, whose studio is based in Parma. None of the design, outfitting or assembly activities are outsourced: instead, each stage of the production process is handled by the specialist engineers, technicians and workers at the Cranchi shipyard, which promotes and...
