Summary - ContainerTug B.V. present a new small cargo support boat standard: the ContainerBarge 1200 D. This robust 12,2 metres dual diesel engine propelled cargo support boat, designed and built in the Netherlands, can be transported with the easiness of a standard 40 ft container throughout the world. This provides optimal flexibility for workboat operators. With 18 tons load capability, ample diesel and fresh water storage tanks, 45 m2 deck space and high-manoeuvrability the ContainerBarge is an all-round cargo support vessel able to transport general cargo, fuel, and fresh water. Due to it’s relatively high propulsion output the ContainerBarge is further able to also push an unpropelled ContainerBarge (CB1200) thus doubling it’s capacity making it extremely economically and able to follow you wherever work is to be done. - Multi-purpose cargo/support boat - Innovative, strong & simple - Available as steel and aluminium version - Can be transported as a 40ft container - Dual engines, 1,8 tons bollard pull (ahead) - Robust Dutch design & quality structure Commercial deployment - This boat is not tied to just one deployment area. Its standard container size dimensions and integrated corner fittings make it transportable identical to a normal 40 ft container: by road, by train, by ship or even by air. This provides you with a great commercial global scope. Configuration - Standard the ContainerBarge 1200D is fitted with two Volvo Penta D5 engines, both connected to a 22 inch (557 mm) fixed pitch propeller. Hydraulically steered, the large rudders provide optimum manoeuvrability under all conditions. For transportation, the aluminium top part of the wheelhouse and guard railing can simply be removed and are easily stored. Besides various standard options your specific custom needs can be included on demand. Certification - The vessel comes standard with a CSC certificate.
