Summary - ContainerTug b.v. present a new small support boat standard: the ContainerTug 600. This robust 6,0 metres single engine propelled tugboat, designed and built in the Netherlands, can be transported with the easiness of a standard 20 ft container throughout the world. This provides optimal flexibility for workboat operators. The 1,2 – 1,5 ton bollard pull, its large deck space and highmanoeuvrability make the ContainerTug an all-round support vessel able to push and tow, which can economically follow you wherever work is to be done. Commercial deployment - This boat is not tied to just one deployment area. Its standard container size dimensions and integrated corner fittings make it transportable identical to a normal 20 ft container: by road, by train, by ship or even by air. This provides you with a great commercial global scope. - Multi-purpose tug/push/support boat - Can be transported as a 20ft container - 1,2—1,5 tons bollard pull (ahead) - Robust Dutch design & quality steel structure Configuration - Standard the ContainerTug 600 is fitted with a Volvo Penta commonrail D5 or D7 engine, connected to a 28 inch (711 mm) fixed pitch propeller. Hydraulically steered, the large rudder area provides optimum manoeuvrability under all conditions. For transportation, the aluminium top part of the wheelhouse and fender system can simply be removed and is easily stored on the aft deck. Besides various standard options your specific custom needs can be included on demand. Certification - The vessel comes standard with a CSC certificate.
