Today’s Viking Line AB was established in 1963 under the name Ålandsfärjan AB. It gained a listing on the Helsinki Stock Exchange on July 5th 1995. The tests we have done together with Consilium verify that 3G/4G technique will be a very good complement to our satellite connections on all our routes. Today Viking Line has seven vessels, which sail between the Finnish mainland, Åland and Sweden as well as between Finland and the Baltic states. Temporary installations of the antennas, as shown on above pictures, were made during the tests. During the tests we measured the download speed via Internet.
