PEiniTURES YACHTING TECHNICAL DATA SHEET GENERIC TYPE : MICROPOROUS PRIMER TYPE :ALKYD DESCRIPTION: WOOD PRIMER 127 is a microporous primer made from alkyd resins, designed for the painting of new or stripped wood. Its fine particles enable, after dilution, excellent penetration into the CLASSIFICATION: AFNORNF T.30.003 - Family I - Class 4a PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Resin binder Flash point Thin particles alkyd-based resin Titanium and selected fillers White, Orange SURFACE PREPARATION: WOOD PRIMER 127 must be applied to a clean and dry surface, free of previous coats of paint. WOOD PRIMER 127 can be applied readily by spray, brush or roller. Thinning : 1st coat: 10-15 % of THINNER 127 Recommended thickness per coat : 70 microns wet (50 microns dry) Drying time at 20 °C : Surface dry : 2 hours Recoat 24 hours with OILY COATING 127 Cleaning solvent : THINNER 127 Available in: 0.750 litres, 2.5 litres and 16 litres Shelf-life: 18 months unopened and stored in a dry place.
