Application: Apply OILY COATING 127 with a large knife in thin coats (less than 1mm). A second coat can be applied after 1-2 hours, depending on temperature. Recoat with a topcoat after 24 hours at 20°C. Coverage varies with coat thickness.
Packing and Shelf-Life: Available in 0.5 or 2.5 litres. The shelf-life is 12 months if unopened and stored in a dry place.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET OILY COATING 127 GENERIC TYPE TYPE : FILLER COATING : GLYCEROPHTALIC DESCRIPTION: OILY COATING 127 is a glycerophtalic coating that can be applied readily with a knife and is used to prepare wooden surfaces before applying a topcoat finish like PLASTILAQUE 127. Can also be used for smoothing out mineral surfaces (cement, concrete, brick). CLASSIFICATION: AFNOR NF T.30.003 - Family IV - Class 2 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Resin binder Pigment Density at 20°C Viscosity Solids Flash point Colour Finish : Modified vegetable oils : Titanium and selected fillers : 1.85 ± 0.05 : Does not apply : 86% ± 2% by weight : > 21°C : Off white : Matt satin SURFACE PREPARATION: OILY COATING 127 must be applied on a clean and dry weakly absorbing surface. On new or sanded wood, soak beforehand with thinned WOOD PRIMER 127. PAINT PREPARATION: Mix thoroughly to remove any liquid residue floating on the surface. APPLICATION: OILY COATING 127 can be applied with a large knife in thin coats (<1mm), without rolling or sanding it dry. A second coat can be applied after 1 or 2 hours depending on the temperature.
