IMPS: In Mould Pressure Sensor systems IMPS: In Mould Pressure Sensor System The IMPS range of pressure sensors and readout units has been developed specifically for accurate pressure monitoring/control in RTM and Resin Infusion moulding processes. A range of fittings is available to allow sensors to be mounted through the surface of a composite or metal mould or into a vacuum bag. IMPS Sensors can be used to provide in-mould feedback control to Ciject Injection machines (contact Composite Integration for details) IMPS Pressure Sensors Robust ceramic sensor. Can be mounted in any position or orientation. Resin can be cured directly against sensor face. ¾” BSP connection. Pressure range: -1.0 to +3.0 bar (Other sensing ranges available on request) Standard Operating Temperature 0°C to 80°C (high temperature versions also available for use up to 120°C) Sensor Cable and connectors 25m cable and connector for connection of pressure sensor to a readout/control unit. Note: Max temperature 80°C Available in 10m, 25m or 40m lengths. Ciject Sensor Extension Lead Cable and connector to extend CIJECT sensor cable to remote IMPS sensor (if using an IMPS sensor to control a Ciject injection/infusion machine. Available in 3m, 10m or 25m lengths. Vacuum Bag IMPS sensor Insert (to fit over ‘spiral’ type resin feed-line) For fitting an IMPS (In Mould Pressure Sensor) into a vacuum bag. (Sensor supplied separately). Designed to fit over standard ‘spiral wrap’ resin feed line.
