Thermo-insulating panel polystyrene-1

Compensati TORO via Piverone, 4 I 10010 AZEGLIO (TO) web: www.compensatitoro.it e-mail: [email protected] Technical data sheet The panel TORO/ISOLis a wood-based composite made with external slabs of plywood and a central layer (core) of polystyrene. It is characterized by excellent thermal insulating properties and a compression strength that provides adequate mechanical performance. The reduced vapour permeability makes it suitable for the use in a moist environment. The surface can be produced with various types of plywood, like the Okoumé - for applications at risk of moisture - or decorative panels overlaid with sliced veneers. Upon request on the faces of the panel can be realized a series of parallel grooves that give it a special appearance. The thickness of the insert and of the coating plywood shown in the following table are an example of the possible production. Performance characteristics1 Reference Standard Thermal resistance Panel Thickness Composition Density Plywood skin Poplar plywood Thickness Layers Technical class Release of formaldehyde Polystyrene core Thickness Compression strenght Thermal conductivity - λ 1 Warning: The information given in this data sheet must be considered as mean values resulting from internal controls and are therefore indicative. The buyer is responsible for assessing the suitability of the panels to the specific application to which they are intended. He is also responsible that the modality of transport, storage and use of the panels are correct and conform to the guideline of the supplier and the requirements of applicable standards. 2 Note: the thermal trasmittance values shown in the table do not take into account the coefficients of thermal convection with internal and external environment that must be considered in function of the specific panel’s installation.
