Compensati TORO via Piverone, 4 I 10010 AZEGLIO (TO) web: www.compensatitoro.it e-mail: [email protected] Technical data sheet TORO/PP80 is a lightweight composite built with skin of Okoumé marine plywood and a honeycomb core of polypropylene (density 80 kg/m 3). The structure of the honeycomb gives to the panel a good stiffness and excellent mechanical properties in relation to its minimum density. The panel TORO/PP80 found his ideal application in the yachting sector for the realization of interiors, compartments and bulkheads. The panel is also available with skins of other wood-based panels and/or overlaid with a decorative sliced veneer. The thickness of the insert in honeycomb and plywood skin reported in the table below are an example of the possible production. Performance characteristics1 Reference Standard Composition Density Bending strength: parallel to grain perpendicular grain Bending modulus of elasticity: parallel to grain perpendicular grain Thermal trasmittance2 – U Skin of Okoumè Plywood Thickness Bonding quality Core of Polypropylene honeycomb Thickness Compression strenght Sound insulation 50 – 4 000 HZ 1 Warning: The information given in this data sheet must be considered as mean values resulting from internal controls and are therefore indicative. The buyer is responsible for assessing the suitability of the panels to the specific application to which they are intended. He is also responsible that the modality of transport, storage and use of the panels are correct and conform to the guideline of the supplier and the requirements of applicable standards. 2 Note: the thermal trasmittance values shown in the table do not take into account the coefficients of thermal convection with internal and external environment that must be considered in function of the specific panel’s installation.
