The edges are covered with a not hygroscopic varnishing. The panel, available in the thicknesses range from 12 to 27 mm is certified by Trenitalia s.p.a. with Type Approval complying with Technical Specification No. 307972 esp. 02 (certificate No. DISQS / ST / STB / IMA The panel is characterized by an excellent fire behaviour in floor position and is certified in Class 1A of fire reaction and in Class F1 of smoke and gases release. The panel fulfil the requirements of the standard UNI CEI 11170-3 "Railway and tramway vehicles - Guidelines for fire protection of railway, tramway and guided path vehicles - Evaluation of fire behaviour of materials - Limits of acceptance".
