COMPENSATI TOKO ' Cemed Quality System > e-mail: info(@,compensatitoro.it Technical data sheet The sound-insulating panel "TORO / APHONOS / C", bonded with melamine adhesive, is a wood-based composite made with external slabs of plywood and a core of high density rubber-cork (965 kg • m3). The faces are resin coated so that one side presents an antislip and the other side a smooth finishing. This treatment gives to the panel a good protection and water resistance. The edges are covered with a not hygroscopic varnishing. The panel, available in the thicknesses range from 12 to 27 mm is certified by Trenitalia s.p.a. with Type Approval complying with Technical Specification No. 307972 esp. 02 (certificate No. DISQS / ST / STB / IMA The panel is characterized by an excellent fire behaviour in floor position and is certified in Class 1A of fire reaction and in Class F1 of smoke and gases release. The panel fulfil the requirements of the standard UNI CEI 11170-3 "Railway and tramway vehicles - Guidelines for fire protection of railway, tramway and guided path vehicles - Evaluation of fire behaviour of materials - Limits of acceptance". Because its remarkable mechanical and acoustic insulation properties, the panel is suitable for structural use. In the railway sector it is widely used in making floors. Upon request, the panel can be provided with holes, grooves and other milling realized with a pantograph. 1 Warning: the buyer is responsible for assessing the suitability of the panels to the specific application to which they are intended. He is also responsible that the modality of transport, storage and use of the panels are correct and conform to the guideline of the supplier and the requirements of applicable standards.
