& Keeper wins two awards >c^o\^ one from Sailors and one from the Trade | In November 2005, Keepers won awards from Segeln Magazine and at METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show) in Amsterdam. Segeln Magazine presented their Segeln-Award 2005 at the Hamburg Boat Show. The Keeper was voted 4th place by around 4000 readers, who had been asked to consider their most innovative product for the year. This was the only piece of deck hardware to win an award. The Keeper's simple, value for money, problem solving, user-friendly characteristics were recognised by Segeln Magazine readers. Display at Hamburg Boat Show The 15th annual Design Award METS competition attracted a total of 172 products from 142 companies. The Keeper was joint winner in the 'Deck equipment, sails and rigging' category. Its design prompted the jury to say "The Keeper from Clamcleats Ltd of the United Kingdom brilliantly reinvents the Clamcleat, to prevent unwanted capture of the rope and also to prevent accidental release."
