BASTØ VI has developed with continuous operation for Moss-Horten route which is the strongest commercial route in Norway for this reason delivery of the vessel should be earlier than 1st of January of 2017. The vessel built in 22 months after effectiveness of contract with Bastø Fosen, November 2016.

BASTØ VI is equipped with GE’s diesel engines that meet IMO Tier III emissions standards without Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) aftertreatment or urea injection. The engines are 2xGE 8 L250MDC / 2237kW@900rpm. The propulsion system is 2 off Rolls Royce AZP100.
