BG-SPKit-A BG-SPKit-B Solid-State Sump Pump Switch SPEC SHEET About The BG-SPKit-A (Pump Mount) / BG-SPKit-B (Pipe Mount) are a highly reliable solid-state sump pump switch and sensor, making it the ideal replacement for unreliable mechanical float switches. The BG-SPKit-A / BG-SPKit-B includes a BG-SP (Sump Pump Sensor), an AC PowerSwitch, a pump (BG-SPKit-A) or a pipe (BG-SPKit-B) mounting bracket, and an AC/DC Power Supply. The BG-SP uses two integrated sensors to detect liquid in the sump while reliably activating the sump pump through the AC PowerSwitch. Having no moving parts that can be jammed or damaged, the solid-state BG-SP is built to outlast all the mechanical float switches on the market today. The BG-SP is CE and ISO 8846 Marine Ignition Protection Certified, tested to ABYC-1500 standards. Patented technology. How It Works The BG-SPKit-A / BG-SPKit-B will turn the sump pump ON when liquid is detected in the sump and turn OFF when no water or liquid is detected. The BG-SPKit-A / BG-SPKit-B extends the life of the sump pump due to its ability to significantly reduce current spikes during the activation of the pump. The BG-SPKit-A / BG-SP-Kit-B can be tested and its status can be viewed using the BGI Config App, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. The App is used on a mobile device with Bluetooth to wirelessly connect to the BG-SP device. The App will report the input voltage level and system temperature. It also allows changing the name of the device for easy identification and testing the device. Set the pump run time after water detection via the BGI Config App (15-60 seconds). Reliability With IP-68 rated durability, the BG-SP is made with rugged, non-corrosive ABS plastic. The sensor comes with a heavy-duty mounting bracket to attach to the pump (BG-SPKit-A) or the pipe (BG-SPKit-B). Heavy-duty 14 gauge marine grade wires connect the BG-SP to the AC/DC Power Supply and the AC PowerSwitch. The BG-SP has two integrated sensors to ensure a reliable and accurate detection.
