The 28 twin is powered by Kodiak 5.7L Chevy engines, 330 hp gasoline engines and coupled to Hamilton 212 jet units. The hull deadrise was configured to allow for both open water operation and rivers with whitewater rapids. The boat s stability meets either US Coast Guard Exposed Waters criteria or Canada s Category C requirements. The boat includes bus style seating, dual on board heaters, bow rails and ladder, rear rails with rod holders, VHF radio and electronics package, trim tabs, sands traps and an external muffler system. Bentz pioneered features include the sled shaped bow, forward and center pilot station, short stroke mechanical stick steering and delta pad bottom. These features contribute to our boats superior handling, quick planing and shallow running capabilities.
