GOVERNMENT AGENCIES – constructed to exceed USCG certification standards this boat will allow law enforcement, wildlife management, search and rescue, fisheries and the military years of dependable, trouble free service. Fred Finlayson purchased his 24’ Bentz Boat as a fishing and pleasure boat with the intent to be able to operate the boat in the technical waters of the Salmon River and big whitewater in Hell’s Canyon of the Snake River plus his local waters. His boat is powered with an 8.1 Liter, 496 CID, 8.1L Kodiak Marine gas motor matched to Hamilton’s 241 jet pump. A turbo impeller was installed in the pump to enhance the boats whitewater capabilities. Standard features include full dash instrumentation with vacuum gauge, pilot pantograph wiper, pilot spring ride seat with fold down seats on one side and a small spring ride on the other, bench seats with backrests, fish box, heater, removable rear rails, a marine grade vinyl top with top trays, top rails and dome lights and Coast Guard approved running and navigation lights. “Extras” include a cross storage box, a quick disconnect fuel line and outlet for electric start for the trolling motor, wash down kit, CB and antenna, stereo with XM radio, sliding glass side windows, net holder, rocket launcher and passenger wipers for the doors.
