NOMEX® DECORETM Technical data-sheet Description A lightweight composite panel with both skins in Okoumé marine plywood (RINA approved) and a honeycomb core NOMEX®; it has high mechanical performances. The NOMEX® “DecoreTM” panel is particularly suitable for projects which require high durability over long periods, exceptionally low weight and excellent mechanical performances. The honeycomb structure of the core (specific weight 32 Kg/m³) made of aramidic fibre NOMEX®, guarantees a high planarity and a high resistance to compression, remaining an extremely lightweight construction. The marine plywood (RINA approved) used for the skins is the best solution for the marine sector and guarantees unchanged performances over long period; this plywood makes the panel suitable for further aesthetic finishes (veneering, varnishing etc.).
