Installation Guidelines for BeauClip:

Ensure the substrate is even and not bowed to prevent clip failure due to boat movement.
Attach BeauClips only to straight materials.
Drill ½” holes at a perpendicular angle for proper installation.
Avoid over-tightening #4 screws to maintain the clip's shape; set the appropriate torque on the drill.
Use more clips for heavier objects to ensure stability.
BeauClips are designed for straight down pull force; pulling at an angle may cause breakage and damage.
The substrate is a non-removable piece where the female clip is attached using #4 Flat Head Phillips Screws.
If clips are difficult to separate, slightly enlarge the hole in the substrate to reduce ball pressure during insertion.
For thicker plywood, install BeauClips closer together.
Recommended spacing is one BeauClip every 14” on 3/8” plywood materials.
Do not use BeauClips for holding speakers or other heavy objects.
For optimal installation, use a ½” Carbide tipped drill bit, referred to as the “Beau-Bit.”
