The quality of the design is coupled with the yard’s superb workmanship, which maintains the great skills of Italian craftsmen plus technological innovation. Rare materials masterfully worked and the blending of wood, leather and fabrics with soft colours creates light and sophisticated atmospheres. The Burkut is a steel hulled displacement ship while the superstructures, for logical reasons of stability, are in aluminium. With a beam of more than 10 metres, there is plenty of space on deck and below, with elegant interiors designed to accommodate a maximum of 10 guests in 5 cabins. The owner’s suite with king size bed, VIP cabin with queen size bed, two double cabins with queen size bed and one with twin beds, suitable for children, nannies or bodyguards, with additional foldaway bed. The interiors are ethereal and neutral, dominated by the light colours of the wood and the whites and off-whites of the fabrics, give a fresh and modern but not over-minimalist overall aspect. Moreover BURKUT YACHT With her 54 metre LOA the Burkut is an elegant yacht with soaring lines. The ultramarine topsides and white superstructures certainly contribute to giving her a refined and modern look. Launched by the Baglietto shipyard in 2009 at La Spezia and internally refitted in 2011, she can boast layouts interior and exteriors by renowned Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski. it should be pointed out that all the fabrics, furnishings and most of the accessories are from Fendi. The owner’s suite is on par with the yacht’s standards and with the guests that usually char ter this type of vessel: It is made up of an office area with sofa and desk (there is of course WiFi and phone connection throughout the yacht), followed by the actual cabin. I don’t know if we can use the word cabin for a space of this size, which runs full-beam across, therefore ten metres wide by five metres length, with the bed in the centre, walk-in wardrobe, small lounge and dressing room. Last but not least in impor tance are the two retractable terraces on the two sides of the owner’s suite. Functioning is simple: par t of the ship’s side is horizontally divided in two and a hydraulic system raises the upper par t and lowers the lower par t

thus creating the terrace and its ceiling. Of course the crew will see to mounting protective guardrails. This is a fantastic spot and the view over the sea and surrounding environment is priceless. The bathroom is separate, situated behind the bedhead: a long marble top with twin fitted washbasins opposite a highly modern oval bathtub in Corian, while up against the interiors of the top sides there are two identical rooms with WC and bidet.
