Features & Uses
Max Cor CF is a high solids, two-component, chromate-free epoxy primer designed for aluminum and steel. It offers excellent chemical and solvent resistance and utilizes Controlled Fusion (CF) technology for extended re-coat times without sanding. This aerosol is ideal for repairs and hard-to-reach areas above the waterline.

Recoatability
Overcoating times vary with temperature, with a minimum of 7-17 hours and a maximum of 72 hours depending on conditions.

Surface Preparation
Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. For aluminum, sandblast or grind to a clean silver color. For steel, sandblast or grind to SSPC-SP10 or Sa 2 1/2 standards.

Operation of Aerosol
Shake aerosol for two minutes before use. Activate by pressing the red button on the bottom. Note the activation time and date. Pot life is 2 hours at 77°F (25°C).

Application Instructions
Apply two smooth wet coats 15 minutes apart. Do not exceed the recommended dry film thickness.

Important Notes
Ensure aerosol is empty before disposal. Do not apply at temperatures above 40°C (105°F) or below 15°C (59°F). Adhere to overcoating times to prevent blistering and delaminating.

Warning
If the maximum overcoating interval is exceeded, Max Cor CF must be removed and reapplied. Hullgard Extra can extend overcoating time up to 6 months without sanding.
