Features & Uses
Awlbrite Quik-Fil Clear is a fast-drying wood grain filler designed for interior wood surfaces. It provides excellent film build and adhesion, allowing for recoating without sanding. It must be finished with varnishes or urethane topcoats from Awlgrip.

Application Equipment
Conventional Spray: Tip size 0.070” or 1.5 mm, pressure 50-60 psi
Brush: Reduce 25-50% using T0031 for bare wood saturation
Surface Preparation
Ensure wood is clean, dry, and smooth. Use marine teak cleaner or wood bleach for new wood. Sand with 150-180 grit paper in the direction of the grain. Not suitable for previously painted surfaces.
Mixing & Reduction
Mix 1 part J3901 base with 1 part J3902 converter. For brushing, add ¼ of T0031 for the first coat. Pot life is 3 hours at 77°F/25°C.
Application Instructions
Apply by spray or brush, with the first coat best applied by brush. Reduce the first coat 25-50% with T-series reducer. Sand between coats for a smooth finish.
Warnings
Do not apply to surfaces less than 3°C above dew point or warmer than 41°C. Ambient temperature should be between 13°C and 41°C.

PRODUCT DATA SHEET AWLBRITE QUIK-FIL CLEAR J3901/J3902 Surface Preparation The wood should be clean, dry, smooth and well seasoned. New wood: remove excess oils by using a marine teak cleaner or wood bleach. This will promote color uniformity and adhesion. Thoroughly remove all cleaner and neutralizer residue before proceeding.
