Application: Application parameters vary based on conditions and equipment. For wood substrates, a light coat of primer reduced by 40% with T0006 should be applied and allowed to cure for 12-16 hours. Air atomized application requires specific fluid tip sizes and pressures.
Recoatability & Drying Times: The pot life at 25°C is 16 hours. Recoat times vary, with a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 24 hours for brush/roller applications, and 1 to 24 hours for spray applications. Sanding is required after 24 hours to improve adhesion.
Warning Notes: Do not apply the primer to surfaces less than 3°C above the dew point or warmer than 41°C. Ambient temperatures should be between 13°C and 41°C.

Sand with P150 - P220 grade (grit) paper. Steel: Grit blast to white metal in accordance with SSPCSP10 (Sa 2½) to a 23 mils (5075 microns) profile. Aluminium: Grind with 36 grit disc or blast to bright, clean aluminium. The metal must be bright silver and completely free of gray oxidation. The surface profile must be a 2-3 mils profile (50-75 microns). Wood: The wood should be clean and dry. Sand the surface with 80-120 grit paper. Blow off the surface with clean, dry compressed air while wiping with clean rags to remove sanding and dust residue. Mixing & Reduction Mixing and reduction requirements will vary according to individual conditions, climate, equipment choice/condition and other factors. Mixing and application of a small sample before full-scale application is recommended.
