Part Description

The A4032A 0183 Compass Pickup senses the angle of a strong external magnetic field, typically from large marine permanent-magnet compasses. It outputs an NMEA-0183 sentence and can be calibrated using a free Windows® software utility.

The output is a standard NMEA-0183 sentence, configurable in several forms, with serial output RS422, 4800 Baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.
