General Specifications
The Argus Mariner XL is a medium work class ROV with dimensions of 2.1m in length, 1.5m in width, and 1.4m in height. It weighs 1300kg and can carry a payload of 150kg or a custom-specified load. The frame is made of Aluminium T6082, and the pods are anodised aluminum. It features Subconn connectors and Dyvinicel HCP 70 buoyancy. The standard depth rating is 500msw, with an optional upgrade to 3000msw.

Power Requirements
The ROV requires a power input of 380VAC, 50kW, 3-phase. It is equipped with 8 thrusters, 4 horizontal and 4 vertical. The HPU manipulators and tooling each require 5.5kW, operating at 210bar-12lpm.

Performance
The ROV has a bollard pull of 253kg forward, 195kg lateral, and 240kg vertical. It can achieve speeds of 2.5 - 3 knots forward and 1.5 knots vertically.

Standard Equipment
The ROV is fitted with manipulators, including one 4-function Schilling Orion 4R and one 7-function Schilling Orion or Hydro-Lek. It includes a focus/zoom camera, with an optional HDTV Camera 1080i, and two additional CCD cameras. It also features a scanning sonar, altimeter, and four Argus RS 130W LED lights. The pan & tilt system operates at 24VDC, and it includes a depth sensor, fluxgate compass, and Argus Rate Gyro. Auto functions include Auto Head, Auto Depth, and Auto Altitude.

Hydraulic and Survey Outlets
The ROV is equipped with 7 hydraulic outlets, with additional outlets available upon request. It also has 7 survey outlets for RS-232 or ethernet, with more available on request.

Surface Controls
The surface control system includes a 3000VAC power supply to the ROV, a power distribution panel with LIMS for power safety, and a control console with integrated joysticks and touch screen in the pilot chair. It also includes a 19-inch rack, Argus Video overlay, and a DVD recorder.
