It is essential the correct air pressure from your first stage is maintained and that your regulator is in good condition. The Status internal micro-electronic computer continually assesses this vital air pressure and equipment condition utilising state-of-the-art electronics. Status monitors both usage and time visibly informing divers when the regulator is due for a service. XTX STATUS TECHNICAL FEATURES The Status is an electronic unit which gives the diver the option to visually check the condition of the first stage regulator before a dive begins. High pressure air enters through the first stage connection filter as in a conventional Apeks first stage. This exerts enough pressure on the primary diaphragm to compress the large spring and allows the H.R Valve Spring to close the H.R Valve, preventing further H.R air flow.
