CABINS & WET UNITS
ALMACO offers modular cabins and bathrooms that can be delivered as prefabricated units or kits. These modular units provide several advantages, including reduced installation time, better installation conditions, economies of scale in manufacturing, and complete system supply and installation from a single source. ALMACO provides custom-made solutions for cabin areas, offering comprehensive services from design and engineering to installation and commissioning. All products used in cabins and wet units are type-approved by the respective authorities.
ALMACO has partnered with Huanan Building Materials (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. to deliver quality, customized, and cost-efficient products. Huanan is a leading Chinese manufacturer of composite rockwool panels, fireproof doors, bathroom units, and prefabricated cabin systems. In 2008, Huanan opened a new factory, significantly increasing the production of these products, including 1,200,000 m2/year of panels, 70,000 doors/year, and 12,000 wet units/year. Huanan holds type-approval certifications for marine products from CCS, ABS, BV, NK, GL, LR, DNV, and EC.
ALMACO's modular solutions have been featured in various projects, including TUI Cruises' Mein Schiff (2009), Brittany Ferries' Bretagne (2009), Bibby Maritime Ltd.'s Bibby Renaissance (2009), Club Med's Club Med 2 (2008), Pulmantur Cruises' Zenith (2007), Azamara Cruises' Journey (2007), Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s Majesty of the Seas (2007), Louis Dreyfus Lines' Norman Spirit (2006), Island Cruises' Island Star (2005), Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.'s Enchantment of the Seas (2005), and Sovereign of the Seas (2004). Notably, Huanan components were featured in the Bibby Renaissance 2009 cabin newbuilding project.
