SmartBoat Compatibility with Signal K The SmartBoat® Solution for onboard sensor connectivity and control is now Signal K compatible. Signal K’s community of users and developers now has access to onboard analog sensor data with a free software download to their SmartBoat module. Multiple sensors interface directly with the modules, regardless of protocol, which convert the sensor data to Signal K, enabling boaters to control the data and set alarms. The sensor data is then delivered from the module to popular navigation software and apps where it can be displayed. Signal K is the first truly open data format for the marine industry, and it’s set to revolutionize how boaters consume and interact with their vessels’ data.
