Designed to be future-proof, the Elektron Quattro has many unique features, carrying on from the tradition of other landmark Aeronaut machines. The Elektron Quattro can carry up to four steered tools. You can order a machine with two or three steered tools, and easily upgrade on-site to the full four. All machines are fitted with a marker and laser pointer holder. Steered tools are held and indexed with a new (patent pending) Cam-lock system. You can fit and change any tool on any shaft in seconds so you have the right setup for every job, now and in the future. Rotary blades, drag knives, creasing and scoring tools as well as notch tools and drill punches all accurately mount on large diameter precision bearings. A software controlled digital pressure regulator applies the right force to each tool, so even high pressure tools like drill punches and creasers can be swapped with other tools. If a job needs it, you have the flexibility to use more than one drill punch tool on the same machine… for no extra cost. The Elektron chassis is light and extremely stiff giving excellent dynamic performance even to machines over 4 metres wide.
