It was developed collaborative partnership with the French Challenge, challenger for the 32nd America’s Cup in Start Phase Time to the line and the two ends of the line are calculated by integrating the turning speeds and acceleration characteristics of each boat. The start area is modelled to look as real as possible to help you make the best decisions. Wind and current data can be manipulated to simulate different scenarios and remove any anomalies. TactiquePro allows data boxes to be displayed on all four edges of the screen. LaserGun TactiquePro can receive information from a LaserGun. It is then possible to ping the position of all the racing marks using the LaserGun. A specific window allows knowing the information about your opponent: relative position, gain the wind. racing TactiquePro can set a windward/ leeward course with different options: gate, position of the start, number of turns. Information about laylines for the marks are enhanced with supporting data including historical average, minimum, maximum for a time period defined by the user. Similarly, the user can define a period to calculate an average wind. On the final approach to a rounding mark, TactiquePro models the area and laylines around this mark. For passing through a gate, the user can select at any moment the gate mark that he decides to round. TactiquePro automatically adjusts the polar navigation data to provide information to layline and precise timings. TactiquePro manages three different polars: start, sailing and performance.
