Soundac® Silencers Splitter Silencer Machinery often generate heath and noise during the production process. Therefore it is not possible to put the machine in an enclosure which is completely sealed off. In that case the noise can be reduced by means of a splitter silencer. Splitter silencers reduce noise of passing air- or gas currents up to 25 m/s. Important aspects in the design are: Maximum air resistance Noise reduction Sustainability Air ducts Ventilation vents Extraction systems Absorption splitter CA-200 Intermediate link damping in dB Freq. in Hz 63 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000 Depending on the required noise reduction, absorption or combined absorptionresonance splitters can be applied. Absorption splitters have the highest reduction in the region of 550 till 8000 Hz. Absorption-resonance splitter CR-200 Intermediate link damping in dB Freq. in Hz 63 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000 Absorption-resonance splitters have the highest reduction between 200 and 4000 Hz.
