Product catalog summary
Soundac® Silencers Overview

Introduction:
Soundac® silencers are designed to reduce noise generated by machinery during production processes. These silencers are particularly useful when machines cannot be completely enclosed due to heat and noise emissions.

Types of Silencers:
  • Splitter Silencers: These are used to reduce noise from air or gas currents up to 25 m/s. They can be designed with absorption or combined absorption-resonance splitters depending on the noise reduction requirements.
  • Cylindrical Silencers: Commonly used in air treatment and ventilation technology, these can be produced with or without a core. The flow resistance is minimal without a core, and they are available in materials like stainless steel or aluminum.

Design Considerations:
Key aspects in designing silencers include maximum air resistance, noise reduction, sustainability, and their application in air ducts, ventilation vents, and extraction systems.

Performance Data:
  • Absorption Splitters (CA-200): Offer the highest noise reduction between 550 and 8000 Hz.
  • Absorption-Resonance Splitters (CR-200): Provide significant noise reduction between 200 and 4000 Hz.

Customization and Stock:
Silencers are produced to client specifications due to the wide range of models available. ANR also manufactures special silencers for high humidity, high temperatures, and using materials like stainless steel or aluminum.

Soundac Silencers-1

Soundac® Silencers Splitter Silencer Machinery often generate heath and noise during the production process. Therefore it is not possible to put the machine in an enclosure which is completely sealed off. In that case the noise can be reduced by means of a splitter silencer. Splitter silencers reduce noise of passing air- or gas currents up to 25 m/s. Important aspects in the design are: Maximum air resistance Noise reduction Sustainability Air ducts Ventilation vents Extraction systems Absorption splitter CA-200 Intermediate link damping in dB Freq. in Hz 63 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000 Depending on the required noise reduction, absorption or combined absorptionresonance splitters can be applied. Stock Due to the large range of models the Silencers are produced to client specification. Please contact us for a quotation free of obligations. ANR also produces special silencers for the following applications: Devices with a relatively high humidity rate High temperatures Deviating types of material such as e.g. stainless steel of aluminium Cylindrical silencers In the air treatment- and ventilation technology round silencers both with or without a core are often used. The flow resistance without a core is insignificantly small. Silencers without a core are produced with an absorption thickness...
