Vikoma’s Komara range of oleophilic disc skimmers are probably the best known and most widely used skimmers in the world. Based on the Komara 20 design, the system has been optimised for use with a larger powerpack, larger bore hoses, and a higher capacity pump (rated at 60m3/hr) to recover oil at a rate of more than 30m3 per hour.
