Smart Switch Solid State Pressure Sensor The unique Smart Switch Technologies pressure sensor is a solid-state pressure sensor offering numerous advantages over conventional probes or float switches. The pressure sensor constantly measures the fluid pressure within the tank ensuring highly accurate and reliable monitoring at all times. With no moving parts this solid-state technology provides efficient, innovative designs fora new generation of Smart Switch Technologies products such as the TM4000 orTC8000. • Solid state (no moving parts to jam or clog). • Compact size. • High accuracy. • Suitable for all types of tank materials. • Suitable for black, grey, fresh water, diesel and petrol. • Full range of tank adaptors available. Tank Adaptors: The pressure sensor can be adapted to any tank by one of the following means: • Directly to tank side - simply screw the sensor into a pre-existing female 3/4" BSP tapered thread. • On the tank side using the Side Wall Adaptor (for thin walls e.g. stainless). • To tank top using Top Mount Adaptor (requires 1/2" ABS or PVC pipe cut to correct length) • On to Drain Valve using the Drain Valve Adaptor. • On to pipes from tank - using the range of pipe adaptors, (different pipe adaptor sizes available). Tank Sender Interface Modules If there are tank sensors already in the tank that cannot be removed then Smart Switch Technologies offer interface modules for use with the TM4000 • 4-20 milliamp loop adaptor - for use with any other sensor with a 4-20 milliamp output.
