The German Frers-designed REBECCA is the largest ketch to be built to-date at Pendennis and without doubt one of the finest looking, modern sailing The owner wished to combine all the best elements of Yachts from the mid-19th century to the modern day, in a stylish, eye-catching Yacht which would give high performance under sail. German Frers duly produced drawings for a 42m Yacht with fine lines and a graceful shear, which is both extremely attractive and performance-minded. Like a true racer, REBECCA'S deck is clear of any superstructure except the teak deck saloon and there is ample space to enjoy a unique sailing experience with uninterrupted sitelines. This view takes in the beauty of the deck itself, which is unusual in being constructed with specially scarfed 6o-8oft lengths of teak rather than shorter lengths. The interior by Mrs Robin Black is light and elegant, consisting largely of off-white fielded paneling. Unusually, the sole is made from antique Heart Pine salvaged from a North American mill built in 1711. 'She's certainly more that I ever creating REBECCA."
