It is electric hydraulic remote controlled and fitted with a fixed capacity Jet/Fog type nozzle. Nozzle control accomplished from the monitor's control panel, which enables adjustment of the jet type from straight stream to fog shape. This special capability makes the remote controlled nozzle a far better tool against fire than more conventional fixed nozzle monitors equipped with a deflector. FIRE MONITOR FIREFIGHTING All "wet parts" in cast bronze and high grade stainless steel; gear housing in cast iron; Jason ball bearing in high grade carbon steel, heat treated; water seals in teflon/carbon composite. REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM The monitor and nozzle are controlled by a self-contained hydraulic system. The entire hydraulic system including a small el. motor driven pump and control valves are mounted within a stainless steel cabinet, fitted on the monitor its self.
