INTRODUCTION Gurit’s long history supplying prepregs to the wind energy, transportation and marine industries has allowed Gurit to lead the way by introducing the next generation of prepregs, specifically designed to make component manufacture faster, easier and cheaper. Pre-impregnated materials (prepregs) are reinforcement fibres or fabrics into which a pre-catalysed resin system has been impregnated by a machine.
