combining a low center of gravity with a deep V hullplus a stabilizing buoyancy tube. The inflatable collarof a RIB acts as a tough shock absorber when
docking or pulling alongside other boats. At planning
speeds, when the collar is above the water level, it acts as an outrigger during hard turns or sudden
course changes, stabilizing the boat and preventing it from heeling over excessively. As a result, even first
time operators find they can safely drive RIBs at top
speed and comfortably make high-speed turns.
