They are screwed and sealed on the deck with polyurethane glue, avoiding water ingress. They can be easily installed by using the installation tools. One can therefore add inserts for new accessories at any time. The accessories are bolted on the inserts providing for a strong fitting and allowing removing and reinstalling the accessories whenever needed. INSTALLATION OF INSERTS 1. Place the console in position on the deck. 2. Mark the drilling position for the SS inserts by using the console base or seat base as a jig. 3. Drill the holes for the SS inserts using a 8 mm and 15 mm drill. 4. Chamfer the edge of the holes using a conical drill. 5. Thread the holes using the tap. Remove all the dust around and in the hole. 6. Coat the interior of the hole with polyurethane glue (use PU glue with high viscosity) and screw on the insert. Clean up the excess of glue with wet solvant(acetone) on a towel. (Do not apply more solvant than necessary as to preserve the glue seam.) Let dry 24 hours. 7. Put the console or seat in place. Screw on the screws (Ø 8 mm) to their end without tightening. Check the position of the console or seat and screw down on each screw definitely.
