DESCRIPTION
The Rough DECT Handset is a robust, well designed and full-feature handset. It meets demands for
easy mobility and is built for long-term dependability in harsh environments. In order to meet special
requirements, the handset is IP-65 classified, meaning that it is dust tight and water resistant. The handset
has a very high battery capacity with speech/standby time up to 16/118 hours. The handset is easy to use
with a large backlit color display. The display provides calling information (calling number presentation) as
well as phone book, call history, and phone setting.
To improve communication in noisy environments, the DECT handset has a headset jack for an active
industrial headset and vibrator option, making the handset ideal for environments where a ringtone may
not be loud enough to detect incoming calls and messages. Optionally an office type headset can be used
to provide hands-free operation in other environments. A wide set of accessories can be provided for
comfortable wear and phone usage such as charger, belt clip, leather poach handle. Each DECT phone
requires a SIP user license in the VINGTOR ACM system.
