a lunghezza della carena è il parametro più importante, a parità degli altri elementi progettuali, nel determinare le qualità di navigazione di un battello pneumatico con carena in VTR. Tutti gli ZAR, grazie all’assenza del tubolare di prua e all’arretramento dello specchio di poppa fi no al limite dei coni poppieri, godono di una carena ben più lunga rispetto a quella dei battelli pneumatici con carena in VTR convenzionali di pari lunghezza f.t. Come si osserva negli schemi sottostanti, tutti gli ZAR devono essere confrontati con imbarcazioni ben più lunghe se si vogliono avere carene di pari lunghezza.

he hull size is one of the most important parameters, under the same design conditions, to determine the navigation quality of a R.I.B. (Rigid Infl atable Sailboat boat). Because of the tubular absence and the transom moving back since their end, all the ZAR are equipped with a quite longer hull than all the other traditional R.I.B. of the same overall length.
