SAFETY: TETHERS

Wichard tethers, whether featuring standard or double action safety hooks, comply with European standard EN 1095. With the elastic models, which retract or stretch depending on what movements are occurring, you are moving freely across the deck, whilst still enjoying full safety. The tethers with a double safety action hook are equiped with a fluorescent hook. These new elastic tethers comply with OSR regulations applicable to ocean racing. Extract from ISAF Offshore Special Regulations:5.02.3 A safety line purchased in 1/01 or later shall have a coloured flag embedded in the stitching, to indicate an overload.
