s a result of its fuller hull shape the sailing model of the Tyee Spiriteasily accommodates three or four people. The boat for boat can be sailed with the crew either sitting on the marine seats or on the floor as in marine dinghy sailing. Sitting low provides for better all-around visibility.The efficient, easily handled lug rig sets up in less than five minutesand can be stowed inside the boat. It features a kick-up rudder and abronze kickup centerboard is standard. The solid teak floor is optional and features built in traditional footstops. The floors are removable for maintenance and cleaning. An optional slide seat unit can also be fitted over top of the centerboard well for slide seat rowing. The Tyee Spirit isa superb boat that rows, sculls, motors or sails well.
