Most air conditioning systems have a reverse cycle function to enable heating with the AC system. However, this requires mild sea water temperatures for efficient heating. Below 6°C sea water temperature the heat cycle becomes inefficient. The Webasto BlueComfort Classic system combines the benefits of a selfcontained A/C unit with the advantages of a compact, highly efficient diesel heater working independently of the see water temperature. A possible retrofit solution: To further enhance comfort on board, the BlueComfort Classic air conditioning unit can also be integrated into existing water heating applications. These unique solutions are cost efficient, space-saving and deliver the perfect climate out of one central system.
