Larger, lighting zone. The compass is continuously lit by the "Tritium bulb". This bulb has a life span of approximately 8 years and can then be replaced by a new one.

• AX2 B / AX2 Y PHO: Photoluminescent As with all light sources of this type, the integrated light cell (unalterable) accumulates and then restores light energy for

more than ten minutes.

• 4 calibrating zones.

Quick and accurate reading, thanks to the two-coloured marking every 5°.

A quick sighting is sufficient: the bearing is read under the landmark, that's all. (No need to use the lubber-line which is difficult to align in rough conditions).
