THE FOCAL POINT IN THE WALK-THROUGH GALLEY IS A CORIAN TOPPED ISLAND WITH UNDER COUNTER REFRIGERATION.

Taking full advantage of the husky beam, the salon has been redesigned to incor-porate a spectacular new layout, which clearly outshines anything in its class. The focal point in the walk-through galley is a Corian topped island with under coun- ter refrigeration. Other appliances are concealed behind beautifully hand- nished teak joinery. Stowage is surprisingly generous thanks to sliding dual-rack systems in the deep cabinetry. A plush L-shaped sofa to port has rod stowage below, and there is a spacious dinette forward that seats four comfortably.The master stateroom also has been enhanced with a major redesign. By shifting the stateroom to starboard, the master suite now features a walk around bed and a private head in the bow with a huge stall shower to create an obvious sense of spaciousness and comfort. A second stateroom to port with upper and lower berths and a private head with a berglass stall shower will accommodate guests in total comfort, as well. For added convenience, a laundry center is located in an alcove off the companionway.In the engineroom, Viking’s engineering benchmarks honed over 43 years are numerous. Engines are mounted to powder-coated structural-steel web frame beds that are secured to dedicated transverse composite bulkheads, which assure drive train alignment and minimize vibration. Daily maintenance checks for the machinery are inboard for easy service. Finished in white Awlgrip, the engine compartment sparkles with ef ciencies and attention to detail including a gauge package at the entrance door and a Delta T ventilation system with supply and discharge fans for proper ventilation and water intrusion suppression.As with all Vikings, the 45 Convertible can be ordered with custom electronic packages from Atlantic Marine electronics, as well as a full tuna tower or other custom fabrications from Palm Beach Towers. Atlantic Marine Electronics and Palm Beach Towers are Viking Yacht sister companies and working with them means the Viking 45 Convertible can be delivered turnkey ready.
