| | Multimat® Fabrics. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION | PRODUCT APPLICATION Multimat® Fabrics are designed to be used as a single layer reinforcement, resulting in time and material savings. The unique 100% glass fiber construction offers great resistance to delamination. Parts can be laminated and post cured with phenolic resins for boats. Multimat® Fabrics have a strong bond between the glass and resin throughout the laminate which maximizes the service life of the laminate. The high glass content along with the resin properties will dictate the overall strength of the part. | |
| | OCV™ Technical Fabrics Multimat® Fabrics are designed for closed molding applications such as Closed Cavity Bag Molding (CCBM), Compression Molding, Vacuum Infusion (VIP), and lightweight Resin Transfer Molding (RTM - Lite). Multimat® Fabrics are 100% glass and are a combination of a knitted glass fiber core that is stitch bonded between two layers of binder free chopped glass. The glass fiber core provides enhanced low properties and contributes to the overall mechanical properties. | |
