Chopped Strand Mat for Hand-Lay Up

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is produced using Advantex® glass fiber. Advantex® glass fiber combines the electrical and mechanical properties of traditional E-glass with the acid corrosion resistance of E-CR glass.

M5 chopped strand mat is made from Advantex® Glass Roving for boats chopped strands. They are held together by an emulsion binder, soluble in styrene, which gives the M5 excellent compatibility with UP resins for boats. The basic strand offers a sizing that contains a silane coupling system.
