					Veth-Compact-Jet

						On the gearbox a self-regulating plunger-pump for boats is mounted for steering and therefore only uses power during steering, with the advantage that this pump gives the system no additional heat and makes accurate manoeuvring possible. In this gearbox also a heavy duty hydraulically tended plate coupling can be built in. The Compact-Jet has several applications. As there are no protruding parts under the bottom of the vessel, it is e.g. very appropriate to make flat-bottom crafts like barges* self propelled.* The Compact-jet can also be used as a bow thruster. In marine cases where a very low sound level is required, e.g. in passenger vessels, the Compact-jet is an excellent solution. Thanks to the double construction, the installation operates extremely silent.
