Because of a sophisticated design the height of the unit is limited to a minimum. Just like the Veth-Jet with the square gearbox the steering worm wheel and the driving gears are integrated in 1 compact gearbox. The unit is oil bath lubricated so that no greasing machines are required and maintenance is kept to a minimum. The gearbox is silent and the unit can be mounted flexibly when for example applied in a passenger vessel. |
