“One Touch“ control system

The One Touch control system consist of a fully PLC controlled system, fi tted locally at the generator unit. Monitoring and operating the nitrogen generator is clear and simple by using the 8” full colour touch marine screen.Cleary indicated buttons on the touch screen enables you to select the required nitrogen production mode. The screen pro- vides you instantly with al the process information and status details of your nitrogen generator and attached cargo systems, such as delivery pressures, fl ow and purity of the produced gas.Depending on the boat ship’s classifi cation details remote placed control and status panels are required in the Cargo Control Room (CCR), Bridge (BP) or Engine for boat Control Room (ECR). By simply connecting additional panels with a 4-wire communication cable to the local unit, all the information and functions required on your CCR, BP or ECR are available.

The effi cient life span and performance rate of the nitrogen membranes is depending mainly on the quality of the compressed feed air. Our systems feature a modular air treatment package. In our scope of supply we are able to provide you with a total system solution. Not only the nitrogen generator and the air compressors are supplied by Verhaar Omega, but also all equipment needed in your nitrogen deck line and cargo system are in our scope. The Verhaar Omega nitrogen system contains the complete valve arrangement to be fi tted in your 95% deck line, pressure trans-mitters for sensing the deck line pressure, pressure gauges and non return valves. Moreover class approved buffer tanks for 98% nitrogen storage, high fl ow and high precision pressure reducing valves and instru-mentation for your strip, pad and blanket lines are available. The above described parts are fully incorporated in the “one touch” control system. Before feed air is entering the nitrogen membrane it passes a 5 stage air treatment package. 1

Nitrogen generators for boats for inland shipping applications

Often the inland tankers have limitations as regards for electrical power and available engine room space. Therefore the feed air supply is becoming a problem, since electrical driven feed air compressors are no option. Compressors

Feed air compressors are an essential part of a nitrogen genera- tor system. Balance between feed air capacity at the compres- sors and feed air requirement at the membranes is mandatory for good system performance. In case the performance or reliability of the feed air compressor is low, the performance and reliability of your complete system is low as well. Our nitrogen systems can be delivered complete with the feed air compressors, in this case Atlas Copco is preferred.
