*** I M P O R T A N T *** Do not, under any circumstances, start and/or use the FRIGOBOAT 2000 TWIN series system if the circuit isincomplete and all the quick couplings are not completely connected. 3.4.1. CONNECTING THE QUICK COUPLINGS (see also paragraph 7.4) All Frigoboat quick couplings are protected by brass protection plugs. Leave these plugs in place until the lastminute, when you are ready to connect the two quick couplings. When you remove the protection plugs, screw them together and keep them, as they will be used for future services.First remove the protection from the ‘A’ suction tube linking the holding plate to the compressor, then removethe protection from the compressor’s male coupling. Centre the male in the female, then gently press the two parts together until the nut of the female accepts the thread of the male. Screw the female nut with the CH20 and CH24 keys while holding the male steady (it should not turn) and making sure that the ‘O’ ring seal is not pinched or damaged during the manoeuvre. Screw until the nut (D) sailboat covers the male thread completely (IM). The seal is guaranteed by the ‘O’ ring (G) and has nothing to do with how tight the thread is screwed. Just make sure the two parts are completely screwed to allow the coolant to pass freely. If you can hear a continuous hissing after making the connection, unscrew the couplings and check whether the ‘O’ ring has been damaged. Remember, the seal of the quick couplings does not depend on how tightly the thread has been screwed.

3.5 WATER-COOLING The FRIGOBOAT 2000 TWIN series cooler is water-cooled. A 12V self-priming pump is supplied, whichprovides the system with the quantity of water required for cooling. The direction of circulation is stamped on the condenser, which is the coil under the compressors. Follow diagram R1421 to connect the seawater. For 24V systems, the same 12V pump is used as the digital box electronics powers it with the correct voltage.
